We had a tremendous turnout of volunteers and success with our Great Outdoor Clean Up of COATV trails on Sunday July 18th. Some of the items cleared from our trails were over 40 tires, tents, fridge, fenders, axles, chairs, beer cans, general garbage items. Along with the garbage clean up, the crew in Wildman tackles some of the over grown tree branches over the trails. We will be putting a call out for a crew to help with the completion of this job in the next couple weeks. It was great to see our regular volunteers, board members and wardens who came out but it was especially nice to see we did not scare off our newer volunteers who came out and cleared trail 12 with us. It was also nice to see new individuals who came out to volunteer their time to help in this endeavour and agreed to come out again and help.
We also like to thank our sponsors who have supported this initiative over the past month with prizes and funds to help with supplies for Sundays main event. Unsmoke Canada, The Great Outdoor Fund, J & R Cycle, JT Powersports, Blue River Powersports, St Onge Recreation, Milligan Energy, Cork & Vine, Extreme Impression Truck and Trailer, KORE, T’s CAfe DIY Moto Shop, UCA Branding, Zoom, Leatherman, McDonalds, Angus & Alliston, Barrie Honda Powersports.  COATV is very fortunate to have some amazing sponsors and volunteers who share their skills, knowledge and passion for the sport. We all have the same goal in mind to move and grow our sport of ATVing and Sxs’s forward.
We would like to remind you that to volunteer you don’t have to only help on the trails, we have other tasks that we need help with time to time. If you have a skill that you like to share and want to get involved, just message us. (Shelly Blake puts her talent of cookie baking toward sending out treats to the volunteers when they head out on a work party. Trust me this is very appreciate by the ones working on the trails when they get done.)
Thank you to all that give of their time. #coatv #cleantrailsarehappytrails
